In an area of outstanding natural beauty Brewery Farm neighbours charming Dorset villages with good access to many historical towns.  Dorchester with its Roman Heritage and of course hometown the famous Thomas Hardy, offers numerous museums, visitor attractions, shopping facilities and a selection of restaurants, and cinemas. 

Sherborne is home to the beautiful Abbey and old and new castles. The pretty Georgian town enjoys many boutique shops and its quaint streets hold a market on Thursday and Fridays.

Shaftesbury, a pretty Saxon town is famous for its Gold Hill, featured in the renowned Hovis bread advert, voted Britain’s all-time favourite advert! 

 

Back at Brewery Farm and the village of Ansty and its surroundings are known for beautiful walks with jaw dropping views of the Dorset landscape, whether it’s a ramble up to the Dorset Gap, or just an afternoon stroll around the plentiful and well maintained village footpaths, be sure to ask us for a copy the Ansty Ambler, a collection of walks in every direction, all starting and finishing at Brewery Farm.
