Eating Out

Locally farmed meat, fish fresh from the sea, artisan breads and seasonal fruit & veg, Dorset fare is nothing short of mouth-watering.  But for the times you’d like someone else to do the work Brewery Farm is located within easy access to a number of welcoming village Inn’s, country pubs and restaurants, serving a selection of traditional food and modern dishes.

A few minutes’ walk from the farm is The Fox Inn, over 250 years old, welcoming dogs and famous for its Badger beer.  The Ibberton, at Ibberton a 16th century Inn offers real ales for you to enjoy amongst flagstone floors and inglenook fireplaces.  The Thimble in the Piddle Valley, is a historic thatched 18th century pub and restaurant, a pretty beer garden with streams, bridges and wooden copse provides the perfect place for the children to explore whilst waiting for supper! The Hambro Arms is located in the ‘chocolate box’ village of Milton Abbas and prides itself on its locally sourced food.

For those extra special occasions..

Plumber Manor in the charming town of Sturminster Newton offers fine dining within its 17th century country house and beautiful gardens.  Yalbury Cottage at Lower Bockhampton, (Thomas Hardy's stomping ground) provides sophisticated and creative dishes using seasonal, Dorset grown produce.
